A F50 company had the need for Program Management support for a new Application development initiative, delivering business optimization benefits and retiring several legacy IT systems.
The organization also wanted to increase their Agile capability maturity to drive the initiatives. The need was to also train the department in the Agile tools and methodology.
Separate tracks were developed for Business and Technology teams as the scope and nature of the underlying activities were distinctly different. Quickly defined and established the frameworks such as project/portfolio management, agile/scrum, and risk and controls management for the organization to adopt.
A cadence of Scrum Events (Daily Scrum, Refinement, Planning, Review and Retrospective) to actively manage early execution pilot and MVP development processes were implemented.
The teams were gradually trained and the Application development was implemented in a very efficient and timely way, with tremendous buy in and support of the Business User Community.
Supported and executed key change management activities such as: communications, stakeholder management, change impact assessments and training.
Acted as coach/mentor to scrum team members, product ownership, engineering and leadership, increasing the maturity of the Agile processes within the organization
